Privacy policy

This site has no user accounts. We only collect the personal data you choose to give us: your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter, and a display name and an email address if you submit a support ticket (see below). The LOGODENN app also sends us technical data about your computer when it starts a trial or activates a licence key (see "Licence and trial check" below). Newsletter subscription uses double opt-in: you confirm by clicking a link we email you, and every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe. As proof of your consent, we store its date and the IP address your subscription request came from. We send the newsletter on the basis of that consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

We keep your newsletter email only while you stay subscribed; on unsubscribe or on request, it is deleted. Payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. We never sell or share your email.

Support tickets

When you submit a ticket, we store the display name you chose, your email address and the content of your ticket (type, title, description, version and how much the problem gets in your way). Your email address is never shown publicly: we only use it to contact you about your ticket. Once reviewed, a ticket may be published on this site with its content and your display name. Your IP address is not stored with your ticket: against spam, we only keep a short-lived counter per IP address, which expires on its own within two hours.

On a bug report, you can attach the log files LOGODENN writes on your computer. They may contain your computer's user name and the paths of your files, so we keep them private: they are never published, and only the LOGODENN team can open them. They are deleted when your ticket is deleted or when you ask us to erase your data.

We keep your email address for 6 months after you submit your ticket, then erase it automatically. The ticket itself, with its content and your display name, is kept as the history of what was fixed in LOGODENN: its private link keeps working, but we can no longer email you about it.

We process ticket data on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling your support request and improving LOGODENN (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You have the right to object to this processing and to have your data erased at any time.

To have your ticket or your personal data erased, or to object, email contact@logodenn.tech with the private link of your ticket, or from the email address you used on the ticket (within the 6 months we keep it).

Licence and trial check

When LOGODENN starts a trial or activates a licence key, it contacts this site. We store a machine identifier (a short hash of your operating system's machine ID, which contains neither your name nor your files), the date your trial started on that computer, and, when you activate a key, the key and the activation ID Lemon Squeezy gives it. We use them only to give one trial per computer and to keep a licence within the number of computers it allows (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) for a licence you bought; Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest, for the trial).

An activation is deleted when you deactivate LOGODENN on that computer. The trial date is kept so that a trial cannot be restarted. Each time a trial starts or a key is activated, our server logs also record the IP address of the request and the network (MAC) address and name your computer reports, to spot a trial or a licence shared across many computers (Art. 6(1)(f)). These logs are deleted after 30 days. To have this data erased, email contact@logodenn.tech.

While announcements are on (they are on by default; turn them off in the app's Settings), LOGODENN fetches new releases and tutorials from logodenn.tech. The request carries no machine identifier.
